Harry’s all geared for growth – in GREEN
Spring day Casual day was celebrated with a unique flair this year at Harry’s Printers. On 1 September 2006, Harry’s was transformed as staff responded to the rhyme below:
Come dressed to the theme,
Come dressed in GREEN,
A GREEN shirt, GREEN pants, GREEN anything will do,
With lots of fun, and prizes to be won too!
Those up for a challenge, here’s a DARE for you:
Males come as females, and vice versa too!

Excitement, fun, and lots of laughter filled the office block as the newest “female” and “male” additions arrived at work – fully clad in wigs, dresses, moustaches, saries, suits, bags and make-up. Green was the star of the day, as most of the team made an effort to wear some form of green attire, even if only a little green leaf! |

| The animated mood in the office was complemented by activities arranged for later in the day. Mr Harry addressed the staff gearing everybody up for the last few months of the year ahead. Mrs Harry expanded on the significance of the theme. She explained that green was not only chosen due to the fact that it is a primary colour in the Harry’s logo, but because it symbolises growth, freshness and renewal. This illustrated to the staff that Harry’s is on a mission to provide world-class excellence as a result of its continuous growth. A teamwork exercise ensured that staff had some fun, while at the same learning the importance of working together. |

The prize for the best dressed male was given to “Mrs.” Patrick Stevens, while the prize for the best dressed female went to Sekiwe Nanini. Small other prizes were distributed to other staff members, and a lunch snack rounded off the day.
With growth, teamwork and fun the message of the day, Harry’s is indeed ready and geared up for the exciting future that lies ahead.
